The Department of Chemical and Food Engineering at Universidad de los Andes contributes to the formation of top quality Chemical and Food Engineers, one that is complemented with an intensive, innovative and high impact research. The department offers compelling programs to the members of both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, oriented towards the development of abilities that stablish lifelong learning processes. The department educational objectives have been defined within the context of both national and international accreditations granted by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) and CNA (National Accreditation Committee).
